Why this exists
In 2021, college athletes finally won the right to earn money from their name, image, and likeness. Almost overnight, hundreds of thousands of young people started getting real money — often for the first time in their lives — with zero guidance on what to do with it.
Into that gap rushed a wave of "advisors," agents, and salespeople. Some are great. Many quietly charge fees that drain tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars over a lifetime, or push products that pay them more than they help you. Almost nobody was teaching athletes the basics in language they'd actually use.
We think that's backwards. The person who earned the money should understand it — and keep it.
What we believe
- Money help shouldn't be expensive or confusing. The core of smart money management is simple enough to teach anyone in plain English.
- Boring wins. Pay your taxes, avoid big fees, invest simply, don't get scammed. That's most of the game.
- No jargon, ever. If we use a term, we define it. If a number matters, we show a real example.
- Education, not sales. We teach you how this works and what questions to ask — we don't manage your money or take a cut of it.
